Broccoli, Brassica oleracea - American Botanical Council

Broccoli is a specific group of plants in the species Brassica oleracea. Broccoli is high in calcium and vitamin K, and contains the constituent glucoraphanin which is converted into sulforaphane, a constituent that exerts anti-cancer and antimicrobial properties in experiments.
