ABC General Stationery 2020

Dear  ,

We are happy to announce the first in a new series of Ethnobotany Webinars from the American Botanical Council and the Sustainable Herbs Program. Leading ethnobotanists Michael J. Balick and Paul Alan Cox will be discussing their new book Plants, People & Culture: The Science of Ethnobotany, revised from the first edition published in 1996. Balick and Cox have spent many years studying the ethnobotany of indigenous people in various parts of the world, including Central and South America, Asia, Oceania, and many other areas. They were colleagues at Harvard University where they both received their doctorates and were heavily influenced by the famed Harvard professor Richard Evans Schultes, widely considered the ‘father of ethnobotany’ in the U.S.
