According to Fungi Perfecti, a manufacturer and seller of mushroom products, a recent, unpublished, NIH-funded clinical trial on its Turkey Tail mushroom (Trametes versicolor) extract found the product to "support immune function when administered to women with stage I-III breast cancer."
