December 2-4, 2009: Indo-US Symposium on Ayurvedic, Siddha & Unani (ASU) Drugs: Development & Marketing. Symposium Hall, International Guest House, NASC Complex, Dev Prakash Shastri Marg, Pusa, New Delhi, India. The symposium will focus on current procedures for ASU/natural plant products – starting from sustainable supply of quality raw material to quality control, standardization and production of the finished marketable products which are clinically tested and enjoy the full confidence of consumers with respect to quality, safety and therapeutic claims on the labels in local, regional, and international markets. 

The symposium will also provide a platform to the Indian herbal drug/botanical supplement industry and will allow other R&D institutes involved in research on botanical & ISM products to present their strengths/approaches in the research and manufacture of ISM/botanical drugs/supplements; and the visiting scientists from USA/Canada coming from various research/academic institutes, industry and government regulatory authorities, etc. will be able to interact with Indian counterparts.
