What Happened at EHS 2022?

Why was this conference one of the most important functional medicine conferences of this year?

We all admit that we are practicing medicine in a world where toxic exposure complexed with acute and chronic infections inhabit and complicate the landscape of human health.

Where immunity to viruses and other pathogens like mold/mycotoxin exposure and Lyme disease (and its co-infections) is increasingly compromised by chemical exposure in our patient’s daily lives.

Where the tsunami of toxicant-induced insulin resistance, cardiometabolic disease, and diabetes are increasingly putting our patients at risk for disability and death from COVID-19.

At EHS, we believe that healthcare providers must stop addressing toxin exposure as if it were a green-drink deficiency and address the real solutions to environmentally and chemically-caused disease.

At EHS 2022, we provided comprehensive treatment strategies that doctors need most.

We addressed the complex intersection between:

  • early treatment of COVID-19

  • long COVID and cardiac complications of vaccine injury

  • the dangers of “synthetic biology”-derived foods and food additives

  • the toxic effects of molds, metals, plastics, pesticides and other daily exposures on the immune system

  • and more groundbreaking information in environmental medicine- breast implant illness, neurologic effects of vaccine injury, short fiber neuropathy, cannabinoids in viral infection and immune regulation, metals in cardiovascular disease, arsenic as the #1 toxicant in the U.S., a radically new way to address kidney disease, hormones and toxins, histamine-related disorders (MCAS), unique cases of metal toxicity and so much more.

If you weren’t able to attend the live conference.....you can catch up with all of this groundbreaking information.

Here at EHS, we will continue to inform, educate, and uplift our providers who understand that living in this toxic world, staying alive and well necessitate both creating community and creative solutions.
