Garlic large AAH

The cultivated garlic species we know today evolved from one of the wild Allium species occurring somewhere between central Asia and the eastern Mediterranean. It has been used for millennia as food and medicine, including for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, atherosclerosis, and for its antimicrobial action.

The American Botanical Council (ABC) is passionate about helping people live healthier lives through the responsible use of herbs and medicinal plants. As an independent, nonprofit education organization, ABC is dedicated to providing accurate and reliable information for consumers, healthcare practitioners, researchers, educators, industry and the media.

Please enjoy this information on garlic made available through the generosity of Neem Biotech’s adoption.
