in Sydney Seek Joint Chair in Traditional Chinese Medicine


The Herbal Medicine Research and Education Center (HMREC) at the University of Sydney and the Center for Complementary
Medicine Research (CompleMED) at the University of Western Sydney are seeking applicants for their Joint Chair position in
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The Joint Chair in TCM will be a highly productive researcher of international standing
who will take on a leadership role in TCM research through competitive grant applications, publications, and recruitment of
research students. Applicants will be expected to have a distinguished research career in Chinese medicine, and will have
specialized in a relevant national health priority area in either pharmacological or clinical research relating to Chinese
herbal medicines. The appointee is expected to work closely with the National Institute of Complementary Medicine TCM
Collaborative Centre to establish strong national and international research networks in Chinese medicine. The Joint Chair
will be supported by HMREC at the University of Sydney and CompleMED at the University of Western Sydney.
