After much controversy, discussion, and disagreement, the question is, "now what?" Every dietary supplement company must still make decisions on how to plan with regard to filing NDI notifications:

• Do you hold off and wait?  
• What are the risks either way?
• What is everyone else doing?
• What do the comments say?
• What are the chances that FDA will change their views on NDIs?
• Is it possible that Congress would take an interest in this issue? (They have.)
