For the last 4 years, the American Botanical Council (ABC) has held a special event in Anaheim, California, in conjunction with the Nutracon conference and Natural Products Expo West, to honor a select few who have made outstanding contributions to the herbal community. This invitation-only event also honors ABC’s Sponsor Members.
Continuing that tradition, the 4th Annual Celebration will take place March 5, 2009 in Anaheim. The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the James A. Duke Excellence in Botanical Literature Award, the Norman R. Farnsworth Excellence in Botanical Research Award, and the Varro E. Tyler Commercial Investment in Phytomedicinal Research Award.
