Bulbine AAH LG

Bulbine latifolia (syn. Bulbine natalensis) is a succulent in the family Xanthorrhoeaceae native to South Africa. Known as ibhucu by the Zulu and ingcelwane by the Xhosa, the plant has been used for wound healing, as an aphrodisiac, and to treat male impotence.

The American Botanical Council (ABC) is passionate about helping people live healthier lives through the responsible use of herbs and medicinal plants. As an independent, nonprofit education organization, ABC is dedicated to providing accurate and reliable information for consumers, healthcare practitioners, researchers, educators, industry and the media.

Please enjoy this information on bulbine made available through the generosity of Afrigetics Botanicals' adoption.
