Keep ABC's Garden Thriving

With day after day of record level heat, our gardens need special attention this year. The gardens are an important part of ABC's herbal culture. They are used to teach, inspire and engage the many people who come to ABC - staff, dietetic and pharmacy interns, members, herbalists, school children - the list goes on and on. The gardens create an environment at ABC's homestead that not only demonstrates the sheer beauty of herbs, but also provides a hands-on training ground for how herb can be planted, harvested and used in medicinal teas, tinctures, salves and lotions - and, of course, eaten.

ABC doesn't have any dedicated garden staff. We usually rely on part-time assistance and volunteers. Your donations will be used to keep the garden thriving through judicious watering, deep mulching, and much needed extra love and care.
