USP

This course enables participants to become familiar with standardized HPTLC methodology that allows for the successful application of compendial and other validated methods, as well as the development and validation of new HPTLC methods for identification of botanicals. The training course will help participants understand the scientific background of HPTLC and the parameters of the HPTLC process, operate modern HPTLC equipment (particularly instruments for sample application, chromatogram development, and documentation of chromatograms) in a cGMP environment, perform a transfer validation, judge and improve the quality of an HPTLC separation, and identify botanical drugs by HPTLC.
