This webinar will review bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) with a focus on practical considerations for optimizing patient health and minimizing symptoms of hormone imbalance. We will look at multiple aspects of BHRT, including research supporting BHRT, various dosing regimens and physiologic dosing considerations, the importance of thyroid and adrenal function optimization when using BHRT, appropriate routes of administration, and accurate baseline hormone testing and monitoring. This webinar will also highlight particular pitfalls and cautions for practitioners to be aware of in treating patients with hormones. Provides 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
