Co-Sponsored by the American Botanical Council. Deepen your understanding of the body with special guest Will Morris, PhD, DAOM, LAc, President of the Academy of Oriental Medicine of Austin. Not only does Will practice and teach, but he is also the author of several books on pulse diagnostics. This is a unique class designed for traditional Western herbalists who would like to learn to use tongue and pulse diagnostic technique with Western herbs. Will weaves together traditional Chinese medicine and Greek models of healing. He distills down complex concepts and fits both common Chinese herbs and Western herbs within our familiar divisions of diaphoretic, calming, diuretic, and bitter herbs translated into differentiations in the pulse and tongue. This is a Level 2 class and a background in herbalism is recommended.
