October 14-19, 2012: III International Symposium on Medicinal & Nutraceutical Plants (3ISMNP) and III Conference of National Institute of Science & Technology for Tropical Fruits. Convention Center, Aracaju, Sergipe, Brazil. The Laboratory of Flavor & Chromatographic Analysis of Federal University of Sergipe, Brazil has organized this symposium in collaboration with the International Society for Horticultural Sciences (ISHS), Belgium. The conference will focus 4 days (October 14-17, 2012) on medicinal and nutraceutical plants, and 2 days (October 18-19, 2012) on tropical fruits.

The main theme of the symposium is "Brazilian Heritage: Current Status & Perspectives." The main objective of the event is to have high quality talks by prominent researchers, scientists, professors, technical persons, and industrial experts discussing a wide variety of matters associated with the current assessment and development of medicines from plants, use of nutraceuticals in the light of functional foods, and research on development of promising products from tropical fruits.
