An Afternoon with Master Herbalist and Author Rosita Arvigo

The afternoon will start with a Mini Herb Walk, then a video presentation about her 13-year apprenticeship with Don Elijio Panti, one of the last and most respected traditional healers of Belize. Afterwards, Rosita will tell stories and answer questions, plus there will be time for socializing. She will also have some of her seven published books on hand for sale and signing. Refreshments will be served. $10 suggested donation to benefit Summer Children's Bush Medicine Camp. This is a rare time that Rosita's presence graces Chicago, don't miss it!
Sunday, July 21st from 4 PM until 7 PM at 319 N. Albany Chicago, IL 60612 PLUS...Rosita is also conducting full length herb walks on Wednesdays, 6:30-8 pm starting July 17th, if you're interested please email Rosita at rositaarvigo@yahoo.com to be informed of location. Cost is $25 or $20 each if you bring a friend. Includes e-mail of detailed notes of each plant discussed.
